This series is seeking to provide you with an overview of the Popes of the Catholic Church. In particular we provide detailed information on the ten Popes who have led the Catholic Church over the time since Australia became a nation on 1st January 1901. In addition to personal information about each pope we are seeking to describe the evolving character of Catholicism in Australia during the period of their pontificate. The following list serves as a quick index to each page but you can also navigate through the series chronologically by using the timeline and links at the bottom of each page.
